The Sea Island Half Marathon event will not be produced for the 2021 race year.
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision that the Sea Island Half Marathon will not return in 2021.
After a difficult 2020, the beginning of a return to normalcy means that more people are making travel plans and choosing to experience all that the Sea Island Resort has to offer. With this increase in occupancy, the resort is unable to accommodate an event of our size for the current year.
We know you are disappointed, we are too, but we believe this is the best decision to ensure that our runners are able to have the Resort Races Collection experience that we strive to provide.
We sincerely thank you for your understanding and we are looking forward to returning in 2022!
