Pinehurst Race Weekend Quick Facts

CHANGE DISTANCE: The last day to change your distance online was February 15, 2020 at 11:59PM. If you would like to change your distance before the race, please visit the Customer Service table during Packet Pick-up to make that change.

DEFERRAL DEADLINE: The deferral deadline was on – February 12, 2020 at 11:59PM – we are no longer accepting deferrals. No exceptions will be made!

HALF MARATHON: 7:15 AM

10K: 7:30 AM

START: Near the Pinehurst Golf Clubhouse 1 Carolina Vista Dr, Pinehurst, NC 28374

FINISH: The Carolina Hotel

The Half Marathon & 10k will start in front of The Pinehurst Golf Clubhouse (1 Carolina Vista Dr, Pinehurst, NC 28374). Shuttles will run from The Carolina Inn and The Holly Inn to the start line between 4:45am – 6:40am, picking runners up at the main entrances. Please ensure you take an early shuttle to avoid long lines and have a smooth race morning. 

NON-GUEST PARKING

Non-resort guests will need to park in front of the golf clubhouse(1 Carolina Vista Dr, Pinehurst, NC 28374), near the start line.

**Please note: Carolina Vista Drive will be closed to all cars at 7 AM on race morning. All runners for both distances will need to be parked before the lot closes at 7 AM.

Post-Race Shuttles

Starting at 8:00 AM the Pinehurst shuttles will continue their regular routes, allowing runners to take shuttles from The Carolina Hotel back to The Holly Inn and the runner parking lot near the start line. You will be able to call a shuttle at the front entrance of The Carolina Hotel to take you anywhere on the resort.

EXPO PACKET PICK-UP:

• Friday, February 21 3:00pm – 8:00pm – Packet pick-up will be in the Donald Ross Room in the Pinehurst Golf Clubhouse. (1 Carolina Vista Dr, Pinehurst, NC 28374)
• Saturday, February 22 (Race Day) – 5:15 AM – 6:15 AM near the start line in the Donald Ross Room in the Pinehurst Golf Clubhouse. (1 Carolina Vista Dr, Pinehurst, NC 28374)

5:15am – 6:30am – Gear check will be available near the start line. Gear can be picked up following the race at The Carolina Hotel. Bags for belongings will be provided. You may also check your room key.

All bags will be shuttled to the post-race party (The Carolina Hotel). Please make sure to pick-up your bag after the race by 11:30 AM. Gear check will close after this time and any uncollected items will be turned to the front desk of the Carolina Hotel.

8:00am – 11:30am – Vineyard Vines Post-Race Champagne Brunch at The Carolina Hotel (Pre-purchased wristbands are required for all non-runnners).

After your race, sit back, relax and enjoy the Vineyard Vines Champagne Brunch, prepared by Pinehurst’s exquisite culinary team! One ticket to the post-race party and brunch is included in each registration, and additional tickets are available for purchase for any spectators wishing to join the fun. OVERALL AWARDS: The overall awards will be announced for each distance at the following times for the TOP THREE male and female winners:

10K: 9:30 AM

HALF MARATHON: 10 AM

AGE GROUP AWARDS:

Age group awards may be picked up at the Customer Service Table beginning at 9am for the 10k and 9:30am for the half marathon. Age groups are as follows:

19 & under; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60- 64; 65-69; and 70-up.

Winners must be present to receive their awards. Awards will not be mailed out. If you unable to stay for the awards ceremony please see the Customer Service Table.
