The Myrtle Beach Marathon, one of the flattest and fastest races on the East Coast, celebrates its 22nd year on March 2, 2019! There’s a distance for anyone – full marathon, half marathon, 5K, and Family Fun Run! Whether you’re looking to qualify for the Boston Marathon on one of the flattest courses around, or you’re looking for a fun weekend getaway with the family, the Myrtle Beach Marathon race weekend has it all!

Expo

Saturday, March 2, 2019

  • Myrtle Beach Marathon: 7:00am
  • Half Marathon: 7:00am
  • 5K: 8:00am
  • Family Fun Run: 1:00pm

Awards:

  • 5K Overall Awards will be announced at 9:15am.
  • Half Marathon Overall Awards will be announced at 10:15am.
  • Marathon Overall Awards will be announced at 11:15am.
  • Age Group Awards can be claimed at the customer service tent following each distance’s overall award ceremony

Start & Finish Locations

  • The Myrtle Beach Marathon and Half Marathon will start just South of the intersection of Grissom Pkwy and 21st Ave N and will finish at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, 21st Ave. N, Myrtle Beach, SC.
  • The 5k will start along the Boardwalk at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion (just south of Pyler Park) and will finish at TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark, 21st Ave. N, Myrtle Beach, SC.
  • The Family Fun Run will start in the TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark Outfield and finish at the parking lot of the TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark.

Race Entry Requirements

  • All participants must register online.
  • A parent or legal guardian must sign for participants under 18 years of age on the registration form.
  • Marathon participants must complete the course in 6.5 hours.
  • Half Marathon participants must complete the Half course in 4 hours.
  • Participants in the 5K must complete the course in 1 hour.
  • Expo registration is strongly discouraged. Runner shirts cannot be guaranteed for expo registration.
  • Event registration will close without notice when the established registration count for that event is reached.

Refund Policy

  • Once your registration has been accepted, all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Marathon Expo and Race Headquarters

  • Location: Ocean Reef Resort, 7100 North Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
  • Hours: Friday, March 1, 2019: 10am-8pmFree and open to the public.
  • Event sponsors and merchandise vendors will be represented at the Expo.
  • Official Marathon merchandise will be available at the Expo.
