Not sure how to use the FAQ page?

There are several ways you can find the answer to your question!

  1. Use the “Enter your keyword here” search bar at the beginning of each section. Begin typing keywords (ex: defer, change distance, packet pick-up, pacer) and articles will automatically populate for you to click through.

What does it mean that there’s no in-person race for 2020?

Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, the in-person race for the 2020 Bull City Race Fest has been cancelled. The 2020 race will now be a virtual event.

What does it mean that the 2020 Bull City Race Fest is now a virtual race?

A virtual race allows you to enjoy the challenge and camaraderie of a race while practicing safe social distancing. You can run at your convenience wherever you like. For more information on the virtual event, please visit our Virtual Race Details page.

How do I check if I’m registered?

Please email and tell us your first name, last name, and email address you registered with. If you think you are already registered, please check with us first!

What if I registered BEFORE the conversion to virtual on July 24, 2020?

You have the option to run the virtual event or receive race credit. You will automatically be registered for the virtual event and do not need to take action. For those running the virtual race, a refund in the form of race credit will be issued for the difference of your original registration cost, minus any taxes, fees, or donations. Example: Original registration $70 – $50 virtual race = $20 in credit back to you!

If you would rather receive race credit to use towards any other Capstone Races event, you MUST submit this form by July 31, 2020 at 11:59 PM.

I want to run the virtual race and was registered BEFORE the conversion to virtual on July 24, 2020.

That’s great! We’re excited to have you and can’t wait to (virtually) race with you! To run the virtual event, no action is needed at this time. More details about the race and packet pickup will be communicated closer to race week.

I do NOT want to run the virtual race and was already registered BEFORE the conversion to virtual on July 24, 2020.

That makes us sad, but no hard feelings! Have you checked out the swag virtual participants will receive? If you still don’t want to join the virtual race, please complete this form to receive your registration costs (minus taxes, fees and applicable donations) in the form of race credit by July 31, 2020 at 11:59 PM.

What is race credit?

Race credit can be used towards any of our Capstone Races events and does not have an expiration date. The credit will be applied to the email address you used to register for the 2020 Bull City Race Fest. If you still have credit left over, you can put that towards any other race.

How do I use my race credit?

To use your race credit, go to the registration page of any Capstone Race. When registering, be sure to use the same email address you used when registering for the 2020 Bull City Race Fest. The credit will automatically be applied to your total at checkout.

What swag will I receive for the virtual race?

We’re glad you asked because we’re excited about it! Participants will receive a tee, tank, medal and bib. Visit our Swag page to learn more.

Participants will also get exclusive offers from our partners at American Tobacco Campus and race partners as well as the opportunity to enroll their kids into the Wool E. Bull All-Stars kids’ club, which includes a free Terrace View or Outfield Reserved ticket.

Will there be a Packet Pickup?

Yes! We’re excited to share that we will hold an in-person Packet Pick-Up on Saturday, November 7 at the American Tobacco Campus’ the Down Under. Click here for details.

I can’t make it to the packet pickup. Can you ship my packet instead?

We’re not able to ship packets, but you can have someone else pick up for you. They will just need a copy of your ID in order to claim your packet. If that’s not possible, we recommend taking advantage of our Worry Free Registration.

Those registered BEFORE the conversion to virtual on July 24, 2020 can opt out of the virtual race and get race credit instead. Please fill out this form by July 31, 2020 at 11:59 PM.

How do I choose my race distance?

Choose between the 5 Mile or Half Marathon. There’s no need to select a distance when registering, but you will need to select a distance when you submit your results.

When do I run my distance?

Run anytime from October 18 – October 25. Why? We’re celebrating the 8th Annual Bull City Race Fest over an eight-day period!

How can I share my results?

We can’t wait to see your accomplishments! Closer to race week, we will have a page on our website where you will be able to share your distance and results. We will share more details in the coming weeks.

Can I receive a refund instead?

No, our refund policy is still in effect. When all runners registered, each individual acknowledged and agreed to the following:

“Fee Refunds: I understand that all fees and associated costs (including optional product purchases, spectator tickets, and donations), paid in registration for this Event are not refundable for any reason under any circumstances, including but not limited to injury, a scheduling conflict, and/or event cancellation.”

We have worked hard to provide Worry Free Registration, giving us the opportunity to supply race credit to those registered before the conversion to virtual race on July 24, 2020 so that our runners can look forward to the start line of their choice.
