For safety purposes and logistics management, baby strollers, baby carriers, and pets are NOT allowed in the Half Marathon, 5 Mile Run, or 1 Mile Run. No exceptions will be made. Littering on the course will result in disqualification.
All runners will be provided with race bibs with timing chips attached to the back. It is very important that the race number be worn on the front of your shirt to ensure that it works properly. In accordance with USATF Rules, overall awards will be determined by gun time while age group awards will be determined by your chip time. There are no awards for the 1 Mile Run.
Races are held, rain or shine, unless we determine that conditions are too dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend or race day by Race Officials and local law enforcement officials. If the race is cancelled due to inclement weather there will be neither refunds nor transfers. This position is consistent with USA Track & Field recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of running. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, Capstone Event Group reserves the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race.
Refund + Deferral Policy
Entry fees are non-refundable. We appreciate you, as our customer, and understand that sometimes you just can’t make the race. Please read about the option below in the event you cannot attend on race day.
Defer Your Entry: You may defer your entry to the 2020 event. Deferrals must be processed by the event registration team. An administration fee will be charged in the event you defer. The deferral will expire after the 2020 event and you will not be able to defer your registration again. Participants may defer their race to entry to the 2020 race by filling out a deferral form. All deferrals must be processed 10 days prior to the race – by 11:59 PM on October 9th, 2019.
